Q. Why do I have to pay a Photo Session Booking Retainer?
A. The Photo Session Booking Retainer is a non-refundable deposit paid to secure the date and time for your Photo Session. It is deducted from the total amount due for your Photo Session and can be transferred to a friend or family member if you know in advance that you can not make it to your Photo Session and choose not to reschedule. When you pay the Photo Session Booking Retainer, Amuse Imagery Photography books the Photographer for you on that date and time which means the Photographer cannot book another client for that date and time. Once you pay the Photo Session Retainer, your appointment is approved and secured for that day and time. If you cancel without rescheduling or do not show for the Photo Session, we have lost business for that date and time. The photographer would have spent time preparing for Photo Session and/or spent money traveling to the photo site location. Therefore, the Photo Session Booking Retainer is an advance payment towards your photographic services.
Q: How do I pay the Photo Session Booking Retainer?
A: When you book your Photo Session appointment, at the end of booking your appointment online, there will be several options to pay the Photo Session Booking Retainer. The options are: CashApp, Credit Card, PayPal, Vemno & Zelle. You can pay your Photo Session Booking Retainer online via Credit Card or PayPal; OR pay offline via CashApp, Venmo or Zelle.
If you choose to pay your Photo Session Booking Retainer online via Credit Card or PayPal, at the end of the booking process, your Photo Session date and time will be secured immediately. When you Download your Invoice after booking your Photo Session, the Photo Session Booking Retainer will be your Deposit on the invoice.
If you choose to pay your Photo Session Booking Retainer offline via: CashApp, Venmo or Zelle, your Photo Session booking date and time will not be secured until you have paid your Photo Session Booking Retainer. So, its best to pay the Photo Session Booking Retainer via CashApp, Venmo or Zelle immediately after booking your Photo Session or pay the Photo Session Booking Retainer online during the Photo Session booking via Credit Card or PayPal.
NOTE: If you choose to pay your Photo Session Retainer offline via CashApp, Venmo or Zelle, when you Download your invoice, you will NOT see your offline Photo Session Booking Retainer until Amuse Imagery receives the payment from CashApp, Venmo or Zelle. Once the Photo Session Booking Retainer has been paid and received, the Photo Session Booking Retainer payment will be manually entered and posted by Amuse Imagery. You will receive an updated invoice indicating payment of the offline Photo Session Booking Retainer.

Q: Where will I meet my photographer?
A: The Photographer can meet you at any legal and accessible location or local landmark/scenic site you prefer within 40 miles at no extra charge. However, miles traveled over 40 miles (up to max of 60 miles in total) will be charged $2.00 per mile on the final invoice.
PLEASE NOTE: Amuse Imagery Photographer will not enter private property without written or expressed permission from owner. Photographer is NOT allowed to Trespass.
Alternatively, the Photographer has a list of suggested sites for your photo session. If you choose a location picked by Photographer, we will email you clear meeting instructions and you will have the Photographer’s photo and mobile number to find each other, if necessary.
Q: What can I do if I am running late?
A: Do not worry. Send a text message or call the Photographer directly. If the Photographer does not have another commitment and he/she can wait for you, everything will remain unchanged. Our suggestion is to arrive 10 minutes early. This a great opportunity to relax, don’t get stressed before your Photo session.
Q: What happens in the event of rain or bad weather?
Do not worry. A Photo session under the rain with a nice umbrella can be artistic. However, if we can not guarantee our standard level due to the weather, we will reschedule the Photo session.
Q: In case I want to extend the service while I am with the photographer, how can I do?
A: Just ask the photographer if he/she is available and you can continue until you are done and fully satisfied.
There is a minimum $40.00 Session Extension Service fee for a half hour (30 minutes) extension and an additional $40.00 for each half hour (30 minutes) extension thereafter.
You can pay the Session Extension Service fee via Cash, CashApp, Credit Card, PayPal, Venmo or Zelle. There will be a 3% credit card processing fee added to the Session Extension Service fee, if paid via credit card in-person.
Q: What to wear? Should I bring accessories ?
A: No stress… Feel free to wear what you like.
If you want some ideas, you may want to consider wearing clothes that complement the other people in your photograph, or the surroundings. Some people prefer to wear loosely similar style clothing, but it’s completely up to you.
We can discuss your styling/vision for your photosduring the Pre-Photo Session Discussion via phone or Zoom online e-meeting.
We love accessories and props. You can bring anything like scarves, umbrellas, hats, funny glasses, books, balloons, bubbles, or even just a bottle of wine. They aren’t totally necessary, but they spark creativity and look great in photos!
Q. How do I pay my Final Payment?
A. Your Final Payment is due on the day of your Photo Session. You can pay your Final Payment electronically online via: CashApp, Credit Card, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle. You can also pay via Credit Card in-person.

PAYMENT VIA CREDIT CARD IN-PERSON: To pay via credit card in-person, you will swipe your credit card in-person at the photo site.

PLEASE NOTE: Final Payment is REQUIRED to release Proofs from your Photo Session
Q: When will I receive the photos?
A: Within 48 hours after the photo session, we will send you a link to preview and select photos to proof from your photo session.
Within 7 business days after selecting the photos you want proofed (per your package), we will send you a link from which you can download the edited photos and/or purchase prints.
Q: What resolution are the photos?
A: The photos are in high resolution and you can download them from the link. The online gallery can be shared. If you have any special requests, please let us know during the Pre-Photo Session Discussion or during the proof selection process.
Q: Who is the copyright holder of the photos?
A: The Amuse Imagery (Photographer) owns the copyright of the photos. The Client (you) has the right to use the photos for personal use (non-commercial). You can print them, share them on social media and with friends / relatives.
Q: Can I buy more photos than those provided in the purchased package?
A: Yes! If the photographer was able to deliver a greater number of shots than the minimum required by the package, we will be happy to send them to you through the gallery. Unfortunately, we cannot deliver all the photos taken during the shoot. We prefer that the photographer could concentrate on the most successful photos and work in post-production only on those. Therefore, we will avoid working on images with closed eyes, grimaces, shaken and so on.
You can purchase more photos than described in your photo session package by clicking >>HERE<<. Once you complete and submit the form, you will be sent an email to finalize payment for the additional photos.
PLEASE NOTE: Additional photos are sold in increments of 5 photos at a price of $10 (per 5 photos). There is a minimum of 5 additional photos available for purchase.
Q. How long will my photos be available for download or ordering prints?
A. Your photos will be available for download or ordering prints for 30 days, unless you purchased one (1) year storage. The charge for one (1) year storage varies from $5 – $20 according to your Photo Session package. If you would like Amuse Imagery to store your photos for one (1) year, please click >>HERE<<. You will be sent an invoice to pay the storage fee.
Q: Will you share my pictures online?
A: We reserve the right do so only after you agree to Photo Release.
PLEASE NOTE: At minimum, one photo from your session will be visible online on the Client Proofing page of our website for you to identify your photo session for proof selection and/or ordering prints.
Q. What if my photo site is more than 60 miles away?
A. Please CALL US to discuss the photo site location distance beyond 60 miles prior to booking your Photo Session; OR, at the latest, during the Pre-Photo Session Discussion. The Photographer will let you know if traveling longer distance is possible after considering his or her schedule and/or availability.
